Hate filled words after the jump.
I hate Revit. It’s stupid auto-snap feature that won’t snap. Your stupid multiple window garbage. I hate it.
I can’t deal with it anymore. 5:00 is almost here.

Hear hear.
My firm had me learning Revit, too, and it’s literally the most unintuitive program in the world, especially when you’re building a house that isn’t shaped like a box.
The most infuriating thing for me is the warning message notifying you that the thing you just created isn’t visible in the active view. But because it’s a generic message, it never tells you specifically WHY it isn’t visible, so I’m left wasting 5-10 minutes overriding visibility settings just to see my goddam ceiling. I have no idea why Revit can’t just ghost it in temporarily for me.
And it’s not Revit-specific, but why does every single 3D model software have different controls for orbiting and panning? Why couldn’t every program use the same combination of mouse clicks and shift keys?!?

Tis. I’m really starting to like that particular period. Cars have transitioned out of purely function and into a bit of form.

I got a 3D mouse. I don’t want to go back to not using one ever again.

Me too actually. I am starting to appreciate how simple and yet beautiful they can be.
